Invitation
I had compromised this week the invitations of His heart. I felt the busyness, the deadlines and the disruptions. I lost the attachment- the divine care, the longing for HIs nearness was strong. Here I am today, sitting down, knowing that I have house chores to do.
When I lit the candle, it reminded once more of Immanuel’s presence, His presence within me. I am inviting Him to speak tenderly into the unplowed grounds of my heart so that I can let go and for Him to just invade those spaces of busyness, tiredness and anxiety. I missed those divine connections, and I missed my connections as well with ministry partners who became friends. I want to be more vulnerable, more raw and more real to Him. I want to write again reflections of my journeys, my deepest desires, and needs. I want to connect with you and engage more in the continual conversation with Jesus.

I have been aware that holding stories about people around me and my own spiritual journey could emotionally drain me. I grew up in a generation where striving and busyness are the norm. I need to find a way and learn to be attentive to God’s presence. Every time He gives me dreams and awakens my inner man, I know He wants me to slow down, move backward, and reflect. He desires that I recharge and replenish my energy before moving forward. He wants me to be present in His pace. He wants my attendance as I transition again. He is my divine coach who doesn’t demand that I be fast.
Our Prayer Points
- Pray for new partners in the ministry who will join and invest in the work we are doing.
- Pray for wisdom and strength in preparing for the upcoming DTS training.
- Pray for enjoyable learning time and the ability to finish the schoolwork on time in the next weeks and months.
- Pray for ideas and creative ways to reach out to the two (2) communities and start community development work this year.
- Lastly, pray for good health for me, my girls and my 80-year-old mom.
National Staff Conference
We will be joining the YWAM national staff conference in Baguio city this coming May 27-31, 2025. The staff conference is every three (3) years. This will be a gathering of missionaries from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. We are excited to take part and couldn’t wait to share more about this soon.
DTS (Discipleship Training School)!
The DTS will start this August 4, 2025.
We are excited about how our Father will meet us with all our needs. And we look forward as well to the miracles unfolding right before our eyes.
