YWAM National Staff Conference
The 5-day conference in Baguio City was last May 27-31, 2025. It was a fruitful gathering of 350 missionaries from all over the Philippines. The theme this year was “Arise, run and press on with Perseverance” from Philippians 3:13-16. As a mission, we are called to stand firm, to be faithful, to focus on Jesus and be filled by the Holy Spirit.
I had a wonderful time meeting old friends who are serving the region. It is encouraging to hear how God is moving in YWAM globally.
This is the Cebu House of Prayer(CHOP) team. We are a diverse team from the Philippines, America, United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Nigeria.
Finally, our DTS team is complete! We have one (1) more coming this week to join us for the next six (6) months. I started out with no one on the team, and our Heavenly Father is so generous to send me the five (5) staff whose hearts are for this generation. We have been busy preparing for this first discipleship training school (DTS). This is an answered prayer after 19 years of praying for this ministry.
We are praying for our overseas students from Pakistan and Nigeria that visa processing will be smooth and without any delays. We are continually trusting the Father for 15 students. At this time, we currently have seven (7) students. Please pray with us for strength, wisdom, favor, and protection.
Staff development, house visits, divine connections & more
We have continuous staff development training to equip and empower our team as they serve the various ministries in the sphere of society.
Together with the team, we had the opportunity to visit a dear friend’s family. Anita, (wearing a headband and a pink blouse). She is my friend’s younger sister, who was born deaf and mute and is currently battling stage 3 breast cancer. We had worship and sharing time. We thank the Father for touching her heart and that afternoon, she came to know Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior.
Another divine appointment was with Attorney Justine. She is a believer and wept when we prayed with her. She is seeking the Lord right now for His purpose and plan for her life. She is also open to coaching, so I am waiting for her to send me a message to confirm our meeting time.
We hosted the Ministerial Fellowship of Cebu City with eighty (80) pastors in attendance. It was a great time of worship, connection and fellowship over food. God is amazingly great and generous!
“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” ~Philippians 3:13-14
