Transition
We belong to Jesus!
Our shepherd, our keeper!
Our provider is our protector!
Our goodness, our constant!
Our first love is our future!
These are the lyrics of the song that’s been repeating in my head.
The realities of this huge ministry transition after 19 years and how to raise funds for our needs and being part of the leadership team have left me stuck lately. I lose balance by putting more focus on ministry needs and forgetting about myself and my needs. I end up finding myself from this bubble and walking through the tunnel finding a ray of hope in Christ alone. Jesus anchored me again. As a person of faith, I continue to believe but, sometimes situations can get overwhelming.
Trusting God for the season!
Quoting Lynn Cowell “Sometimes, God brings times of transition to create transformation”. Navigating through this transition and be inspired to look into those crack doors of life with hope for new beginnings. I found myself calm and stable allowing myself to go through the difficulties and finding that breaking needs down to “bite size” now can be easy to hold and draws me more to God’s heart.
Matthew 6:34 ESV
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
Uncertainty is a place of possibility!
Uncertainty is a place of possibility! I found new opportunities bit-by-bit looking through my needs in small portions. Looking at scriptures as well we find God’s people struggle in the wilderness looking for security and comfort. Every morning God shows them providing daily for their manna. He was inviting them daily!
This small wins brings fulfillment in my soul and finding more value in myself. Transition may bring uncertainties, fear, and stress but, may we not forget that this is an invitation for us to trust God for the now. He keeps us in the present moment. He is faithful for the now.
