April Story
It didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to.
I was slow, unproductive, tired, and overwhelmed in everything and seemed to be disconnected with God. God was silent!
I found myself in a faith crisis, shaking if I have enough strength to physically and emotionally navigate the internal turmoil.
I was at my lowest point financially, with needs exceeding what we were receiving. I was shaking and panicked.
In silence, I found myself wandering, reflecting on my life and how I would write and live my story, our story, and His story.
He is in the middle of every journey of faithlessness and silence. He breaks in quietly with strong whispers of hope and peace.
” Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled
and do not be afraid.”

New Chapter
I am grateful to the Father for providing for my daughter’s needs. Thankful for partners who continue to believe in them. Yes! Lala and Khaikhai worked so hard to come this far. Lala is moving up to eighth grade, and Khaikhai graduated sixth grade with high honors. As a mom, I take great pride in witnessing those sleepless nights and seeing them thrive through the demands of schoolwork. As they start on this new chapter, I am praying for favor, wisdom and protection to go around them.
Trainings, Fellowship, Visits
We have an ongoing staff development training every month to equip our young leaders. I am excited about the growth and openness they all have to learn and work together.
We visited Talita Lifehouse, one of the justice arm of the ministry to fellowship, hear testimonies, encourage and pray. It is amazing how the Lord is enlarging this ministry for the marginalized and exploited youth of Cebu.
The visit of YWAM Philippines leaders has also blessed us. We had a wonderful time sharing and hearing what God is doing in the region and beyond.
Discipleship Training School(DTS)
We have three (3) more months to prepare for the training school. Our team is doing a great job with renovations, social media marketing, student follow-up, and, most importantly, prayer.
It’s been a slow process and encouraged to see how the Lord is putting things together for us.
We look forward to the nations that will join and pioneer work in the Philippines and Asia.
