Slow n' Sure

We are grateful to God for each one of you for investing in our family and ministry all through this time. Your trust and generosity brought our work this far. We want to say thank you! These words are not enough for how blessed we are to each one of you!
I came across this saying on Instagram, “God’s timing isn’t based on your clock—it’s built on His calling.”
Lately, I find things slow with all the disruptions that took place. I became impatient and realized that this is one way of God saying to me that He got this! I was too focused on my agenda, my to-do list and my goals that I forgot it was His idea. God moved in ways I cannot comprehend. I felt His strong presence in every way. It was slow and sure.
Matthew 28:19 NIV

Badjao Community
We are starting pioneering work in the Badjao community of Mambaling, Cebu. We are championing one of our young leaders who came from this tribe. Last February, there was a fire that broke out in the community and destroyed 124 houses. Last March 29, we distributed 124 hygiene bags (toothpaste, toothbrushes, detergent soap, bath soap, shampoo, and underwear) and used clothing. We didn’t only share the good news, but it was my high school batchmate’s first time to support me in this initiative. I have been praying for so long that they will open their hearts toward causes like this. For me, the event is an answer to prayer. My batchmates have been open to the gospel lately, and I am glad to be able to share with them about Jesus. I am praying for more opportunities like this!
Equip, empower, & disciple
As followers of Jesus, we have been called to be disciples, make disciples and disciple the nations. Therefore, we pursue a lifestyle of being a “training community.” As a training community, our goal is to equip our young leaders with the right tools and resources that they can use to impact the community.
Champion young people
We champion young people. We believe God has gifted and called young people to spearhead vision and ministry. We are committed to valuing, trusting, training, supporting, making space for them, and releasing them. They are not only the church of the future; they are the church of today.
We have ongoing weekly trainings for our emerging leaders. We look forward to the new staff coming to join our growing team.
Coaching Team
I am blessed to be surrounded by amazing people this season!
I have finally finished the lecture phase and will be working on my practicum hours to get certified in the future.
I will be incorporating coaching during the Discipleship Training School (DTS) that we will be running this August. I couldn’t wait to train as well as the team that I have.
God is good because I continue to go through coaching sessions to improve and learn more. Grateful!
New Life House Church Family
We finally met our extended family of love. They have been praying and encouraging us in this season. We look forward to more connections with them.
