Revamp
There were changes to do in the office since the ministry had undergone several transitions throughout the years. As I took over the administration of the ministry last year, one challenge I faced was putting order in the house. The word I had was RevAmP, to give it a new and improved structure. Part of the improvement is our internal communication, to have a more healthy flow that will improve productivity and efficiency. Second is the paperwork: putting proper documentation in place, updating policies, etc., which help in the work flow. Third is accounting; good financial management is key to growth and a healthy ministry.
When I look back, I see God’s grace, and reminded by Matthew 5:14, Jesus said to His followers, “You are the light of the world—like a city on the hilltop that cannot be hidden.” (NLT) When Jesus was saying this, He was also saying this to the ministries, to be the light of the world of which it’s admin should reflect as well His light to the ministry.
It is a privilege to work toward this vision of God and be a part of the building of the kingdom. For the ministry to carry out His purpose for the body of Christ and the community, administration should be healthy, organized, and efficient.
