The Mercado’s
Our vision is to see young people in Cebu and the entire nation equipped and empowered to share to the whole world the gospel of the kingdom of Christ.
Christine Mercado has spent the last ten (10) years working with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in the Philippines, Thailand, and the Indo-China region. Christine attended YWAM-Cebu’s Discipleship Training School (DTS) in 2005, where she met her late husband in 2006. Christine has two lovely daughters, Mishaila Jann (Lala) and Mikhaila Jann (Khaikhai). Christine has focused on training, discipleship, administrative work, unreached people groups (UPG), and mercy ministry over the years. The Mercados are currently serving with the Cebu House of Prayer (CHOP).

Our September Story

God’s Unlimited Capacity
God's Unlimited CapacityPsalm 23:1 "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." I have been stuck lately in this cycle of lack. The self-sufficient self always comes from finding ways to fill it on my own. Sometimes taking control of everything. As I am finding time...

Level Up
Level Up! Determination, hard work and courage sum up this year for Lala! That this little girl, whom I once carried and held in my arms, is graduating from sixth grade. I witnessed her bravely through her elementary school years, despite the significant impact of...
Courage in Motherhood
Courage in motherhoodCourage spells differently when you are a mother so much more when you are a single parent. For me, courage is believing that there is a high power who will be my help and guide. In Hebrew, it’s "omitzlev,” meaning a courageous heart that jumps...
South Korea
Strategic Leadership CommunityThe trip to South Korea was a God-orchestrated plan. He paved the way for me and my girls to join the ALLC summit in Jeju. He weaved it all together for us! It was inspiring to see the other side of the world after such a long time. It...
