May and June

YWAM National Staff ConferenceThe 5-day conference in Baguio City was last May 27-31, 2025. It was a fruitful gathering of 350 missionaries from all over the Philippines. The theme this year was "Arise, run and press on with Perseverance" from Philippians 3:13-16.  As...

April Story

April StoryIt didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. I was slow, unproductive, tired, and overwhelmed in everything and seemed to be disconnected with God. God was silent! I found myself in a faith crisis, shaking if I have enough strength to physically and...

Slow n sure

Salamat—thank youWe are grateful to God for each one of you for investing in our family and ministry all through this time. Your trust and generosity brought our work this far. We want to say  thank you! These words are not enough for how blessed we are to each one of...

Invitation

InvitationI had compromised this week the invitations of His heart. I felt the busyness, the deadlines and the disruptions. I lost the attachment- the divine care, the longing for HIs nearness was strong. Here I am today, sitting down, knowing that I have house chores...

ReConnect

Champion the YouthWe are blessed to host the Heart of David DTS  team from Canada for two (2) weeks. This team of  fourteen (14) helped us with the new work we are starting in the communities around us. They did campus ministry, house-to-house evangelism, open-air and...

Wrap Up

Wrap Up "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It...

Reset

RESET- The overnight staff retreat in Moalboal last month brought the needed reset. Communing with nature—just being calm and quiet releases all toxins  accumulated with work, city life and recent spiritual warfare. Grounding ourselves back reconnects us to our...

Celebrate

48!It feels good—so good to be 48!   Last month's spiral of emotions was replaced by a month of celebration. I decided to listen to my body and my emotions and be more aware of their needs. I chose joy and celebrated the small victories, defeats, frustrations, and...

Vulnerable

Vulnerable September came with a spiral of emotions—health, car problems, ministry transitions, and unprocessed grief. Circumstances beyond my control overwhelmed my heart and mind. I became vulnerable, which meant being honest, real, and transparent. I stopped...

Our September Story

YWAM Together, Manila (September 3-6, 2024)The recent YT conference  in Manila turned out a bit different for us. Instead of attending the entire conference, I and my daughters were only there for 1.5 days. I spent the rest of the time nursing my very sick girls, even...

Last Year, 2024

Transition and Training

We laid Jong to his final resting in Cagayan de Oro on his birthday, December 2. It was a time of closure for everyone and a time of moving forward. Closure may be different for each one, but for us, it was a time of new beginnings. It was a time of embracing the new season and of walking in obedience to God. We are glad to be part of the Cebu House of Prayer (CHOP) family because we have the time to transition and to slowly embrace our role in the ministry.

This Year, 2025

DTS (Discipleship Training School)

New things are springing up this year. The God-given opportunities to serve in the ministry and outside ministry are growing. I am beginning to understand the word “bridge” that God spoke to me about a year ago. As the Cebu House of Prayer (CHOP) administrator, you bridge everyone back to the vision and mission of the ministry. With the rebuilding of the ministry this year, admin makes sure that the work is in line with its vision and mission. What a privilege to serve!

Next Year, 2026

The Possibilities

A stronger, united, and engaged team is rising! We see the many possibilities of stronger connections with other ministries and partners. The unfolding of evangelistic events, the birth of new ministries, visiting teams arriving, full-time staff joining, and more ministry opportunities I believe when we carry the vision together in unity, then” suddenly” comes.
